Lee Cowan, our head coach, is one of a few select level 5 coaches in the County and is responsible for all of the coaching at the club, along with assistant coach Adrian Tottey level 3 coach in his own right.
Lee previously worked in the USA alongside professional tennis players on the tour and now brings his wealth of knowledge to the club. Coaching is available on either an individual or group basis for all standards and ages and is an integral part of the club, developing the overall standard of play year on year.
Coaching however, is not all about technical ability and one of the coaches' strengths is their ability to teach how to play and enjoy the game of tennis, as well as giving honest advice on rackets, equipment and other aspects of the game.

Coaching Testimonials:

"My son started lessons at the St. Peter's'after school club some two years ago. During that time both Lee and Matt have worked with him tirelessly and he has gone from a  complete beginner at age 6 to taking part in regular tournaments at the club and really enjoying playing tennis."

                                                                                                                                      - Karen Langridge (Parent)

"The coaching that Lee has given to the Mixed E team is really having an impact on our game and the results the team is getting. The team have all commented on how much they are enjoying the lessons and your enthusiasm in helping us."

                                                                                                                         - Christine Sellers (Team Captain)

"Whilst the standard of junior tennis has improved so much since Lee took on the head coach role, what never ceases to amaze me is how much the kids enjoy playing tennis and always come off court smiling, even if results have not gone their way."

                                                                                                                                            - Neil Bates (Chairman)
